Boosting efficient and low-energy solid phase regeneration for single crystal LiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2 via highly selective leaching and its industrial application

随着储能和动力设备的普及,需要再生或安全、可持续处置的废电池数量激增。然而,传统的固相和湿法冶金浸出再生方法具有能耗高、处理路线长和产生大量废溶剂的特点。为了解决这些问题,我们在本文中报告了一种基于选择性浸出的高效、低能耗再生高镍LiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2材料的策略,即使在非最佳浸出条件下也很有效。浸出修复了废旧LiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2的塌陷晶体结构并去除杂质相,固液混合物无需复杂处理,从而使该工艺变得节能环保。重新合成的单晶 LiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2的初始比放电容量为179.2 mAh/g,在0.2 C循环150次后仍能保持90.7%的容量,与商业材料的性能相当。该方法可精确补充废旧材料中损失的锂,修复受损的晶体结构,改善锂离子传输,并将废旧电池回收利用,实现工业应用。
